What is Intense Barbell Club (IBC)?
Our Intense Barbell Club services those athletes that want to learn & train the strength sport of powerlifting (squat, bench press & deadlift). Competing in a powerlifting meet is not a requirement to be a part of this group (although many do) …just a willingness to learn and work hard is all that’s needed. We have USPA certified coaches on site Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursdays at 5pm for our co-ed powerlifting team and our lifters to train together, as a team. This program is open to everyone regardless of age, gender, experience, etc. The best programming in the world is fruitless if you train on your own. Additionally, if you think you can train yourself without a subjective critical eye informing you of your weaknesses, you're wrong. IBC has state, national and international level judges, state, national and world record holders and champions…more so than any other gym. Layne Performance Center hosts more powerlifting meets and larger meets than any other facility for hundreds of miles. Whatever your goals are, we can get you there. This is the place you need to be, and we welcome you to the strength community!

How to Get Started
Training rates are $50.00 per month, auto-debited; no contract.
New members are always welcome; however, this group is limited in numbers to provide quality instruction.
