What is “Intense Boot Camp?”
Intense Boot Camp is designed for large group training where participants desire fat loss/weight loss, increased muscle tone, and full-body conditioning.  We will place a strong emphasis on building a strong core and functional strength while losing body fat at the same time.

The term “boot camp” was initially derived from the training that the military would have to go through when first being initiated into their military branch. The name “boot camp” itself sparks images of Full Metal Jacket with a drill sergeant screaming and yelling directly in your face, calling you unfavorable names and making you cower in fear.  However, please know that is not the type of boot camp we are talking about here.


Who can participate in the “Intense Boot Camp?”
Intense Boot Camp welcomes fitness levels from beginner to advanced, from age 16 – 65, assuming that you are medically approved to engage in a physical fitness program that will involve running, jumping, squatting, core movements, bodyweight movements and moving small amounts of weight (typically, nothing more than 35 pounds).  If you have injuries that you can’t work around, a heart condition or joint issues, boot camp might not be the best fit for you. 

How will I get in shape if I join “Intense Boot Camp?”
Similar to Crossfit, boot camps use a wide variety of equipment and bodyweight exercises.  Push-ups, kettlebells, dumbells, medicine balls, tires, bands, lunges, you name it, and the culmination of weeks of training with various implements and bodyweight movements will result in fat loss/weight loss, increased muscle tone, and full-body conditioning.  Participants will be expected to perform at a fitness level that is challenging and intense, and no one will be left behind – we will utilize circuit training in fixed time periods so everyone finishes at the same time.

I’m out of shape, so why should I start “Intense Boot Camp?”
For most people, boot camps are a great way to get in shape, lose weight, have fun and make friends while doing it.  Because the Intense Boot Camp will cater to any fitness level, you shouldn’t worry about being in any certain shape before you start…that’s what our boot camp is for: to get you in shape! With a wide variety of exercises, a non-competitive and supportive environment along with the combined strength and cardio exercises, you’re sure to get great results from boot camp as long as you stick with it.
